If moving towards a microtransactions' internet for video platforms; is it preferable to lay the cost at the video uploader, the viewer or a split?
The content host/cdn need their bills paid, and will either get this directly, through selling usr data or direct payments / fees on usage.
I'm sensing that low friction for viewers is what most people want, aka. the uploader should maybe cover the hosting costs; but then get to decide whatever fees and or donation options they want to offer their viewers.
These have different GUI layouts, interesting. I'm guessing that the "app" one might be a PWA and the other a pure web client. Store the favourite layout as your bookmark and enjoy

The most "entertaining outcome" prophecy makes sense every time masses of people are in control of the outcome. Because they will influence towards what they want, and entertaining is at least a minimal standard for a mutual interest. Fun is powerful.
Trending nostr content is an interesting concept.
https://nostr.band/trending/posts claims to list some trending content, but it doesn't state along what parameters this is judged.
Trending is generally a computer algorithm based thing, but ofc. things can trend among humans solely as well and have for centuries.
Simplistically, I would probably conclude that trending notes on nostr; would be client dependent. (Things trending within the clients) Or maybe personal retpost dependent.
If anyone have some ideas on this subject, I love to hear some speculations.
The magic of Nostr
I used to use astral.ninja as my web client and I liked it, but the site doesn't load any more, so I switched to Coracle.social
I didn't lose a thing of my own creation, no contacts, no nothing. I just moved client. Wow.
