What's your favorite checklist app?
I love Todoist for a to-do list, but not necessarily for making a list of items like a grocery list, or travel packing checklist. I'm curious what nostriches are using!

Our trip is all wrapped up and we head home today. No one got hurt, no one got sick, and the kids seem happy. I'll call it a success.
Hope you all have a great Friday

After having watched some of the RNC and the DNC...
Damn. Political parties be cults.
Ran Nostr Graveyard (https://nostr-graveyard.vercel.app/) to check for dead accounts in my Following list. When I ran for 3 months since last post, I bunch came up and I unfollowed all. Just ran again for 1 month since last post and got zero results -- so feeling good that I'm following people who actually use Nostr.
We're here and we're alive!

This tool worked a lot better for me than Yeghro to find inactive accounts. House cleaning ๐งน

Had a nice birthday with the family yesterday, and now it's back to work. And going back to work isn't so bad when you work with great people. Feeling gratitude. โค๏ธ
Already halfway down my coffee. And yes that's noStrudel on my laptop screen. ๐ฅ
Hope you all have a great one today

My old boss and ex-colleagues from before I got laid off are reaching out and sending me birthday wishes.

Instead of rage-quitting, can we just rage-touchgrass?
One more comparison with words.
Prompt: a tattoo of the words "LESS TOIL" across fists
Google ImageFX:
Midjourney:
Google came out big on this one. It gave me four versions of the image and all four of them correctly had one letter per finger, exactly what I was looking for.
MJ on the other hand had four results that struggled to land on what I was aiming for.

Prompt: a purple humanoid ostrich wearing a hoodie and walking in a cyberpunk city
Google ImageFX:
Midjourney:
I like MJ result in this one MUCH more. The city feels much more alive, and the nostrich seems more relaxed and humanoid.

Testing out Google's ImageFX image generator against Midjourney with the same prompt.
Prompt: a hooded figure typing on a laptop in a cyberpunk data center. highly realistic.
Midjourney:
Google ImageFX:
Gotta say that the generator itself for ImageFX is pretty sweet. It latches on to variables in your prompt and gives drop-down menus to swap them out if you want to refine your result.
They're both great images but MJ's is a bit more stylized and detailed. But I do like the depth effects in ImageFX's output.
What a cool time we're living in to play with stuff like this.

Evening didn't go great
Didn't touch any music
Getting this morning started off on the bike
Hope you have a great Friday everyone

Gonna work on some music tonight.
Codifying this in a nostr note so I can hold myself accountable.

Studying every morning - maybe it's time to schedule my test to add a little pressure.
Hope you all have an awesome Thursday
