What represents success when it comes to Nostr audience building and podcasting?
Renovating a house is much harder than I expected
So many more decisions to make
Costs
Time
Expectations
All constantly playing against one another
150 years ago, pioneers were building rail roads
What is the equivalent today?
Well we're building in cyber space, the digital frontier
Boarders are undefined
The map is not the territory
Copy/paste was possible, until it was't
Bitcoin came along and solved the double spend problem
Communication was centralised, until it wasn't
Nostr has come along and put the user back in charge
So what next?
Well the railroads of our digital economy will look very different
But no doubt someone somewhere will come up with it
One thought I had: "every Nostr connection is a potential customer"
"A potential customer that can't be taken away from you"
So there's no rush
People like to buy off people they know
But it takes time to get to know people
And they don't know what you sell
And I don't know what they need
So maybe it's just one gigantic market research phase
Customer discovery on steroids
Product-market-fit is out there
It just takes time
DO NOT STOP
Podcasting
Writing
Speaking
Investing
Trying new things it the key
Indeed, my son is starting to walk, and once again it's amazed me
He doesn't give up
EVER
Just back up
And tries again
So
On that note
Tomorrow we go again

The inevitable march of bottom-up viral adoption…
A few weekend beers and conversation, then a text. Love this type of curiosity

Moving house again this week
Always more to do than I think...
A child that was playing with my kids over the weekend was sick
"School sores"
Their parent kindly called us to mention they'd just found out
My immediate reaction to my wife: "nevermind, terrain theory applies, and our kids are hammering on all cylinders atm"
Let's see what happens!
What are the benefits of being debt free?

Yday I was introducing NOSTR to someone
I was asked “Who manages the algorithm?”
Which I didn’t answer quite as well as I would have liked
Someone interrupted
But being able to talk about a new internet, with the user at the centre, and explain how if a client turns against you, one can simply take their key pair and login to another client, taking all their data, followers, and proof of work with them
Really does get people’s attention
“Oh well we better look at it”
We were having a discussion about platform risk
Good reminder: it’s possible to be early, feel wrong, due to status quo, traction, and adoption phase, but actually be absolutely correct. Time in the market beats timing the market
Cheers to all those building on Nostr
💪🏻
Without doubt one of the most interesting startup, tech, freedom, entrepreneurial programme there is
Watching with keen interest
Is scheduling content actually valuable?
So unbelievably bullish Bitcoin right now
Just met someone who had never heard of Bitcoin as a “savings tool”
They were clearly very capable
Highly educated
Successful in their field
20 years in consulting working with people like PWC
Strong reminder as to how early we are
People just have no idea there is a savings technology
In spite of years of education
And kicking corporate goals
In the years to come, it will look like it was obvious, but conversations like this remind you that it was not
People had no idea
People were still pulling carts with a horse when you could’ve had a car
People were still sending letters when you could’ve used a mobile
People were saving dollars when they could’ve used Bitcoin

What are you favourite AI tools?
In particular when researching a business idea
Many of your behaviours, thought processes, and conditioning, is inherited from your forefathers
Your job, and your kids jobs, is often to bring inter-generational healing to those cycles
It's simple, but not easy
