There’s something so amazing about stumbling across new Nostr accounts People I’ve never heard of Posting real stories Real opinions Real life It’s powerful Very powerful Who would have thought… give people a way to communicate that is free of centralised authority, censorship, and a superior form of defensible free speech And there they are Talking Networking Making new friends Building new things Bravely having their say What a world that is opening up for us, abundance, optimism, honesty, opinion, debate, the whole spectrum of free speech A lesson @knutsvanholm gave me once: “if you do not allow people to actually have freedom of speech, they resort to violence” Arguably Nostr is a peaceful revolution Onwards 🙏🏻

Luke Gorman is without doubt one of my favourite macro commentators to listen to Recently he’s been bearish Bitcoin, to his credit he is saying what he believes, and taken some profits I think he’s wrong in terms of price action Macro indicators could well be showing a tough start to 2026, and often Bitcoin is the canary in the coal mine when it comes to economic strife But we’re only ever just one public announcement away from a total shift Just one big player And boom The whole market can just accelerate to a new tier Digital scarcity has never been seen before All models are wrong, some are helpful And price gains happen fast Really fast So timing the market is MUCH harder, than time in the market So there is no place I prefer to be than long Bitcoin GM 💪🏻

“The natural state of the free market is deflation” Is a truth that has just really hit home A naturally observable point That struck me just now whilst putting IKEA furniture together - Attempt 1 of shelving unit took a while - Unit 2 was quicker - By unit 4 I had a process that was streamlined Same inputs (labour, raw material), same output (shelving unit), but with superior IP in production This is a small example of why the trend of deflation is true - Faster - Cheaper - Stronger Natural outcomes from the attention of intelligence to anything it’s pointed at It’s something that has been on my mind since listening to @Jeff Booth talking with @Pete Winn 🔆 and @Andy David recently It’s so simple It’s so obvious But somehow so hard to grasp Can it really be true that everything gets cheaper forever? This simple truth will be normal on a Bitcoin standard But we’ve been warped Lied to Miss-lead Because our status quo measuring stick for value implies everything is getting more expense forever That horrible feeling when real estate prices just keep getting further out of reach in the area you live in… It’s not real It’s fake You’re being stolen from via the stealth tax of inflation Wow what an insight to really hit home On such a simple task Hundreds of other tasks to complete as we unpack Cheers to deflation all Back to work 🙏🏻💪🏻😎 image

After 3.5 years, and 19 times packing up and moving house Last night I slept at the property we purchased Feels amazing To know that it’s ours Sending good vibes all I hope you’re kicking the goals you set out to achieve Big lessons along the way Shorting physical real estate was harder than expected Rental contacts Landlords Mould All sorts In summary “you can’t live in a Bitcoin” Even if it does wonders for your purchasing power Cheers 🍻

The 9 Forms Of Capital - Rev Hodl (JWP 108) npub1f5pre6wl6ad87vr4hr5wppqq30sh58m4p33mthnjreh03qadcajs7gwt3z This episode covered a topic I love: capital. Tune in to learn from Rev Hodl, who with a permaculture lens, runs us through how he grows, manages, and protects multiple forms of capital, all at the same time. I asked Rev: "What is capital?" "How does permaculture look to develop savings?" "How bullish are you?" "Where are we in the adoption curve?" "Do you like to make experiments?" "What is a mad scientist?" "How does permaculture approach debt?" "What does a day look like when you're managing a homestead?" If you want to give value-4-value: Via Fountain: boosts and all streams are split 50% with the guest Via Nostr: zaps always welcome Thank you Best, Jake
