Early adopters are "investors" in what they believe in: privacy, crypto, moving for liberty, etc. We take the risk and the pain, but we get the benefits before anyone else.

This is exactly why I don't fully trust any crypto without a DAO and on-chain scaling. Otherwise it will absolutely trend in the direction of being captured by outside interests.
