My mom has two home aides. One is Haitian the other is Jamaican. They both speak fluent English and have nice cars. My mom loves them. Judging by the dark rings around the Haitian ones eyes, there might be at least one toddler in her care. The Jamaican one is a religious woman. She conducts herself like a nun. Inactivity and arrested development, a halt to growth, change, and improvement. It can be seen as a kind of "death" or stasis, where potential is not realized. This can be due to complacency, lack of motivation, or reluctance to challenge existing beliefs.
