being pregnant gave me a whole new understanding of the value of TIME and presence. I can’t help but feel sad for all the hours I wasted scrolling away🥲 Good thing mom’s off the silly apps (only online for creation purposes on desktop!) before the lil guy comes! Knowing ill have my hands full and ill be able to be fully present and teach him that the screens are tools for work and not for subconscious self soothing makes me feel powerful. Bring back present parenting❤️ breaks my heart to see babies out in the world, sitting behind a screen like a zombie instead of running around I am so excited to navigate this part of motherhood and find a way to interact with tech that is sustainable for our family🌎🌿

self responsibility is the cure all. honestly i hear so many whining about how they fell into traps of wonder supplements & fake health hacks promoted by some lifestyle influencers. I ask them if they would just buy supplements from someone they just met on the streets and they get all confused. shitty companies exist, greedy people still have a voice and the only person that can be held accountable for what you consume is yourself. framing of big and small narratives is a problem and can be tricky to navigate, and as lucky as we are to live in a time of abundant information, theres also lots of bs floating around. here’s a strategy: 1) verify the information/opinion you want to rely on for health choices specifically 2) gut check yourself: do I want to believe this because it would serve me well (chances are algorithms know this based on the information you consumed before: thus pushing affirmative content) 3) remember that the basics can’t be replaced by a magic pill 4) DON’T OUTSOURCE YOUR HEALTH TO ANYONE ELSE glad to be on a platform that is not purely a market place but rather a open mic night god bless nostr

been diving deep into AI agent creation (so we can teach our virtual assistant trainees) and I just can’t help but realize that it is very possible for us humans to be the creative forces and leave any and all tasks we don’t find fulfillment in to AI. how cool to be alive in a time like this🤓

my partner builds surfboards for a living. he can also build close to anything else - and if he can’t, he can for sure figure it out. one thing he does better than anything else is holding me. in all the ways. there has been no place I have felt safer, more seen & understood and loved than in his arms. what I love a lot about our whole thing is that he’s and will always be strong in his values, out surfing at sunrise, taking care of his health and family, making sure we are safe and sound. I know he is going to be the greatest father & husband. And I am beyond excited to do life with him✨

woke up today wondering why the stay at home mom lifestyle was deemed ”opressive“ where I grew up. I remember getting so much praise for wanting to "make it" as a lawyer, I never questioned it again… but it didn’t feel right. I am not a mom (yet, 7 months to go!) but I stay home, take care of all meals, laundry & cleaning. I have my own online business that I can easily manage - we shall see how I feel when there’s a baby that I want to be present for😂 I don’t remember anyone endorsing staying home back when I was a kid or teenager - but I do remember the moment I realized what I truly desire✨ This is it🫶🏽 I landed in my dream reality (guess thats how it always works…) So grateful for all the opportunities the whole online world presents & to be willing and able to take them. I can’t wait to be a mom and give life to my family & projects🪄 have a blessed week everyone🪽

just arrived in the US for the first time. beautiful nature and easy going people. Lots of really big cars & more fast food than I have ever seen in any other country. Customs & Immigration interrigated me for two hours and insisted on going through my phone (that would get you sued in germany i am sure) but we made it✨ If you have any recommendations as to which national park to visit in Idaho, California, Oregon & Missouri feel free to share🫶🏽
