It's alarming to me how many people, even many Bitcoiners, feel that either they or a government can or should impose their will on others for decisions that an individual makes. Of course there are small exceptions that a community or family might make with regards to those decisions, but that is up to those families/communities if they personally are truly negatively affected by it. Governments at large, who have no stake in the game, should not be doing such a thing. It is also alarming how many people still want to be regulated or ruled over by someone else. Society still has a lot of work to do.

GM Nostr clients should give you the option to hide posts/accounts with a "Report Threshold" of your choice. For example, I could choose that if an account has been reported at least X amount of times by anyone else (OR maybe just reported by accounts that I follow), it should be hidden from my feeds by default. Of course this has potential for abuse. Maybe PoW could be added in some way.

So many woke red flags

This past week I've had first-hand experience that #Bitcoin is on many minds that haven't fully embraced it yet. New job. At least one coworker per day has been considering buying it (so of course I had to educate them in the short time we had and have shared my contact info). Multiple patients or their family, even ones I thought for sure would be disinterested, have understood what it's implications are. It feels like mass influx is not far away.

Anyone have tips for connecting @OpenSecret NWC with Amethyst? Connection shows up for both, but zaps get stuck. The loading circle nearly closes and then stops. I have it set to autoapprove @ 10k sats/day.

It's unbelievable that there are still places requiring people to get the COVID "vaccine". These poor nursing students I'm working with are forced to get basically every one. Doing my due diligence to give them information to possibly mitigate the side effects. I just wish they could do something different with their lives instead of playing Russian roulette.
