So far, slOP-NET seems to be a nothingburger and I'm happy to have been in the wrong.

Five surgeons are discussing who makes the best patients to operate on.
The first says, “I like accountants on my operating table. When you open them up, everything inside is numbered.”
The second replies, “Yeah, but you should try electricians. Everything inside them is colour-coded.”
The third says, “No, librarians are the best. Everything inside them is in alphabetical order.”
The fourth chimes in, “I like construction workers. Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end and when the job takes longer than you said it would.”
The fifth surgeon shuts them all up: “You’re all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There’s no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains, and no spine. There are only two moving parts - the mouth and the asshole - and they’re interchangeable.”
Put down your phone for 24 hours to detox.

So I was searching for the perfect Linux flavor for my Laptop when I stumbled upon Linux Mint Debian Edition. Seems to tick most of my boxes, latest release is titled Codename @Gigi, which kinda seals the deal. 🤣

Nothing new, I know, but this one is special to me because I actually know the person.
Should have mined solo, but to each their own. 😁

In light of the OP Net launch, it might be wise to open channels or get some funds onto LN if you need to keep transacting, you have one week.
Don't say you weren't warned this time!

33 years ago today, Eric Hughes published the Cypherpunk Manifesto.
"Privacy is necessary for an open society in the electronic age."
A sentence from 1993 that hits harder every year. Bitcoin is the most powerful tool to emerge from this movement.

The Battleground successfully conducted its first weekly payout :zap:
405 Sats were distributed to each of the 5 registered and online players with the weekly highest diff shares on either side!
416 extra Sats were distributed to the OGs who registered on day one as a one time bonus.
Total pool hashrate did a nice 3x since the Battleground launched, hopefully more to come. Onwards!

I'm building the Marketplace part of @Pod21 Bot and would like to keep the data storage as decentralized as possible.
Are there any blossom servers that persist data forever which could be used for storing 3D model listings? What would you do to make decentralized 3D model storage happen on nostr?
I guess kind 30018 would make the most sense since already marketplace compatible, but then again, what about kind 1063 events?

Do you want to break your social media habits easily without having to set up screentime reminders or installing additional apps?
Here's my pro tip. Just rearrange all social media apps you usually tap on your phone by muscle memory into one folder on your homescreen and watch what happens.
Suddenly the brain starts to ask questions. Why should I open Twitter over Nostr? Do I really want to read what App XYZ serves? Wow, that's a lot of social media apps...
Try it. it's truly magical!
