GM and PV. I’ve always tried to limit my digital footprint. I stopped using Google Search around 2010 and started using DuckDuckGo. Around 2019/2020 I started using Brave - still use Brave today. I used iPhone from 2007-2022/23 because I trusted Apple over Google Phones. 2022/2023 I switched to a de-googled Android w/GrapheneOS: mainly because Apple wouldn’t let Damus Zap Notes. 2009 -2019 I used Facebook and Twitter - Primarily. 2019/2020 I started moving away from FB/Twitter and tried alternatives like: MeWe, Gab, Parler & Minds. I really liked Minds until I discovered Nostr in late 2022. 2019/2020 I started using Proton Mail. Now I use all the Proton Products: including VPN for Laptop & Phone etc…… I’m always open to making changes if something better comes along. I don’t know why I have been in this state of mind when it comes to digital privacy? I’m a GEN-Xer and most people in my age group just don’t care about this. Actually, most people in general just don’t care or they just don’t understand what is going on. I’m so thankful for Bitcoin & Nostr and any person/team working on Digital Privacy: everyone working in this space has my deepest gratitude.
