10 years ago, on August 28, 2014, Hal Finney passed away from rare ALS syndrome. In the course of this, I have tried to create a small artistic tribute in pencil, in which I reminisce about Hal Finney, his work and his legendary proclamation “Running bitcoin”.

An illustrated book about Bitcoin art, printed and bound by one of the best photo labs in the world, deserves appropriate packaging. A matt black box with magnetic closure and gold embossing seems fitting to me!

Do you recognize this legend? It took me more than an hour to draw him on an area of one square inch, barely bigger than a thumb.

I'm drawing a ceiling fresco in honor of Hal Finney. Maybe one day it will adorn the ceiling of an architectural proof-of-work masterpiece.

The time has come: my next work will be a tribute to Hal Finney. On August 28, 2024, it will be exactly 10 years since he passed away. I plan to reveal this drawing on this exact day.
