It's me MJ! 💚
I've been doing the low-carb thing for two months now, ever since my doctor told me that my blood sugar was high.
Since then, I've tried to avoid foods that are high in carbs and sugar. That means no instant noodles for me.
While I'm glad about it for obvious reasons, I've started craving them again. And right now, I can't stop thinking about them.
I want some Chilimansi Pancit Canton with a hard-boiled egg and a banana on the side. And how could I forget a glass of Coke with lots of ice? Yum. 🤤🤤
So far, my blood sugar has been normal. But I made a promise to myself that I'd only eat sweets or carb-heavy foods if they're truly worth it—like my absolute favorites.
Unfortunately, Pancit Canton doesn't fall into that category. So I guess the least I can do for now is drink some water or my unsweetened acai berry juice to distract myself.
For now, I'll just have this: tea.

Good evening.
I just noticed the BCH Jobs section here, where you can post job listings if you want to hire someone. As a freelancer, I could probably use this feature if I ever need an extra hand to post something on my behalf and pay them in BCH, especially if they are from another country. However, I may need to fund my wallet first. I’m not sure if I can still remember the process for funding it, though, since it has been years since I last did it. We’ll see.
While everyone is posting about BCH, I’ll post about my MP2/savings instead.
Currently, I have three active accounts, and by the end of this year, I plan to open my fourth. As someone who is getting older, I’m happy to see my investments and savings grow. It makes me feel financially secure. Of course, I know there’s no guarantee in this world, but it’s better to have a backup when things go wrong.
As they say, always diversify your portfolio. So aside from my MP2, I also have other savings in different cooperatives that earn for me. Yes, we need passive income in today’s economy.
When I was still earning BCH, I had quite a few as well. Those were the days when I felt rich lol. Well, not rich-rich, but I felt rich in the sense that I had never had that kind of money before. Now, I don’t have any BCH left.
I was hacked before, and almost 6 BCH was taken from my MetaMask wallet. But I always believe that everything happens for a reason. It was painful, but I trusted God, and I knew He would help me recover. And yes, He did, and even multiplied it tenfold compared to what I lost.
The bottom line is, whether it’s BCH or fiat, always set aside money to save and reinvest. As they say, money doesn’t grow on trees, but we can always grow it through smart investments. Always save, but don’t forget to spend as well.
If you’re into savings like me, feel free to share your experience or story. I’d love to hear from you, my fellow money lovers. :)
