The Conscious Contrarian challenges conventional wisdom to uncover new, more attuned principles and perspectives for navigating the future.
Some recent films from some of my favorite directors and how I would rank them, with scores 1/10
- Babylon (9/10): Damien Chazelle is a master. Watched this movie in a theater near Union Square with my buddy and saw the world in more color and resolution afterwards.
- Amsterdam (8/10): I think this movie is underrated. There was something about the friendship between the three main characters that was truly heartwarming and inspiring
- Triangle of Sadness (7/10): Not as brillant as Östlund’s “The Square” but still deeply thought provoking and funny
- The Banshees of Inisherin (5/10): I love Martin McDonagh and I suspect there was something here that this movie wanted to tell me. May have to watch it again but for me it fell short.
Recent movies still on my watchlist:
-The Whale
-Tar
-All Quiet on the Western Front

Yesterday’s run. Started too fast and crashed mid run, still ok with the overall pace and I know I can get below 5 min/km next time by starting slower.

Good morning ☀️ and PV Nostriches!
“[…] spoke, it was unclear whether there had been any other meetings between the two men [Gensler & SBF].
Gensler’s calendars for 2022 have not yet been fully released, so questions on this front have persisted”
I would not be the surprised at all if the current SEC enforcement season’s goal is to distract from the many ways, Gensler was going to let SBF screw over the American retail investor.
