Some recent films from some of my favorite directors and how I would rank them, with scores 1/10 - Babylon (9/10): Damien Chazelle is a master. Watched this movie in a theater near Union Square with my buddy and saw the world in more color and resolution afterwards. - Amsterdam (8/10): I think this movie is underrated. There was something about the friendship between the three main characters that was truly heartwarming and inspiring - Triangle of Sadness (7/10): Not as brillant as Östlund’s “The Square” but still deeply thought provoking and funny - The Banshees of Inisherin (5/10): I love Martin McDonagh and I suspect there was something here that this movie wanted to tell me. May have to watch it again but for me it fell short.
