“Transformative Money - Why you’re not being paid enough and now is the time to change it”
I just published this on Substack. It is directed at everyone who has not yet been convinced of Bitcoin’s ability to transform their lives.
If you think that the approach I’m taking here is useful, I would really appreciate your likes, reposts and especially if you could forward this to family and friends who need Bitcoin but don’t know it yet.
Thank you to everyone here who has helped me shape this post. As I note at the bottom it’s not perfect but hopefully still resonates with a lot of no-coiners.
Shoutouts to: #[0] #[1] #[2] #[3] and many other incredible Bitcoiners on nostr for influencing my view here.

Some of the comments under the more frequented posts on nostr make me think that there should be a cost to commenting (in zaps).
This would significantly increase signal and decrease noise and would make it much easier to find the more interesting conversations that are going on.
“Awakening from the Meaning Crisis” - in many ways that’s what we’re all doing as we’re finding meaning in this incredible movement towards the liberation of money and speech.
It’s also the title of John Vervaeke’s incredible lecture series on Youtube, which I highly recommend for those uncovering more layers of the meaning onion. In many ways Vervaeke is a more profound and less annoying version of Jordan Peterson (and his colleague at University of Toronto).
His recent podcast with Tim Ferriss is a good intro to his work:

Are any Namibian Bitcoiners on #nostr?

Credit Suisse stock is down 90% since 2015, trading like a shitcoin. I suspect this is the likely fate of every European bank as their primary business model of stealing wealth from people unravels.
"Money rests on the axiom that every man is the owner of his mind and his effort […] "Money demands that you sell, not your weakness to man's stupidity, but your talent to their reason"
"You're penniless in this valley, Miss Taggart. You own millions of dollars in Taggart Transcontinental stock - but it will not buy one pound of bacon from Sanders' hog farm"

#nostr in a nutshell:
No central control, no censorship, no shadow banning, many clients competing to produce the best experience (much more difficult to create problematic network effects).
And maybe most importantly: no attention economy business model. When there is noone paying for engagement, there is no perverted incentive to create an algorithm that maximizes porn and outrage content.
Instead people are paying for great content directly, value 4 value!
