When something is shitty about Nostr, I do what I can to make it better. Usually that means spending time giving feedback to the person who owns a particular thing or finding a way to fix it myself. What I don't do is shit on X users because Nostr sucks. I'd be okay never talking about X again at this point. It bores me. Calling me X's problem is going to illicit a response, especially when the person invokes Bitcoin. That isn't tribalism, it's self-defense. The Bitcoiners on Nostr tend to have a different cultural framework, some I agree with, some I don't. But in general, they hold principles of freedom and decentralization. Why the fuck would people like that decide to give most of their time and energy to X? Why would they stick around? I hold space for people who use both. Fine. But if you're strictly on X and you call us out as the reason the Bitcoin community on X is broken, I'm telling you to go fuck yourself. That's what I mean when I say fiat minded in this context. I don't necessarily mean people who use dollars or whatever. X embodies the ideals of fiat (one dude controls it). People who stay there do so by their own choice. That isn't our fault. Fuckem.
