I like some of the things I'm hearing from Slate.

Every automotive engineer should be required to be a mechanic first.

Replacing my piece of shit Energizer batteries with these. If nothing else, they did a wonderful job on the look and feel. Hopefully they work as well as they look.

The new required cabin spyware on vehicles is just another insane step toward dystopia. I'm brushing up on the opinion that internet connected vehicles are a public safety and national security threat. And even if they weren't connected, this new law is likely going to endanger a lot of vehicle "owners."

This bottle is a banger with a cool story. I learned at the distillery tour that their master taster tried an original bottle brought by one of the family members to a company party (to show off allegedly - she had to convince them to open it for her). This bottle was born from her love of that bottle. I have to trust her for how close it really is but it's good either way.
