I'm kind of sick of hearing industry complain about the lack of skilled labor while they refuse to build and retain those people. I've experienced this personally at a company I already work for. Like I am willing to grow and fill in skill gaps. I can fucking read. I can study the specific literature, technical manuals, and research. They want people with a ton of specific experience at a low pay. I don't believe we have a shortage of people wanting these jobs. We have a shortage of true leaders and educators in industry.
