Some things I’ve seen being discussed on other apps this week, that I found interesting, but haven’t seen much talk about on nostr (please help me find these conversations if they’re happening and I’m missing them) -Beyoncé’s Renaissance film premiere in London -Israel knew about Hamas October 7 attack well in advance -college football playoff rankings -Spotify layoffs -Taylor Swift’s pr person responding to a gossip site -Elon wanted open AI to be for profit, while he was there, but complained about it being for profit after he left -Paris Hilton having a brand promotion deal with Twitter, then boycotting, followed by Elon insulting her and her brand -something something George santos

One thing I loved about Twitter when I used it was finding out what was going on in the world…whether it was news, culture, technology, pop culture, sports, etc…I kind of always felt aware of what was happening, at least peripherally. With nostr, I love the community feel and how much everyone cares about building and improving this space, and what’s going on with each other, but I do miss getting the information on what’s going on with the rest of the world also. I feel like there’s not as much discussion here about that (other than bitcoin), unless maybe I haven’t found the right people to follow for that. More inward focused for now. I actually feel like I haven’t found a good substitute for that information in general since leaving twitter. I use like 6 different apps to fulfill that itch. Just a thought, as discussions of growth continue.
