For the moment, let's leave religion out of this discussion. I will come back to it later. All Humans(people), by nature, have the same rights; not dependent on when, where, how, or what gender they are born. These Rights supersede all national affiliations and national laws. These are natural laws. They existed before there were governments and will remain after. First and foremost, All people own themselves. All people are entitled to the fruits of their own labor. All associations, transactions, contracts, agreements, sales, etc. of Any kind, for Any reason must be voluntary. (Non-Aggression Principle or NAP - Aggression/Coercion should not be used to force anyone to do, say, or agree to Anything. The ONLY time aggression may be used is in the defense of the life and rights of yourself (or others) from another party initiating aggression.) Theft of any kind is wrong. These represent my ETHICAL stance on way human society should be. I understand that this model of
Yet another reason to wait until marriage for sex. Looks like God knows what He is talking about... The oral contraceptive pill can alter women's fear responses and mate preferences, based on recent studies. Research from 2025 (e.g., Davignon et al.) shows that women currently on or who have ever used the pill often have exaggerated or persistent fear reactions even in safe contexts. This is linked to impaired safety-signal recognition in the brain, especially with higher-dose estrogen pills (≥30 µg ethinyl estradiol). Effects can linger after stopping, tied to reduced activity in areas like the hippocampus and ventromedial prefrontal cortex. Not every woman experiences this, but it offers a biological explanation for why some report heightened anxiety on or after the pill. On attraction: The pill mimics a pregnancy-like state, shifting preferences away from masculine traits (strong jaw, deeper voice, genetic dissimilarity for better offspring immunity) toward more stable, nurturing types. Women on the pill may choose partners aligning with "good provider" vibes rather than peak "genetic fitness" cues. If she stops the pill (e.g., to conceive), preferences can revert, leading to reduced sexual/relationship satisfaction in some cases—especially if the partner was chosen while on it and rates lower on conventional attractiveness/masculinity. Studies show women in this scenario sometimes feel less attracted to their partner, more drawn to alternatives (particularly during fertile phases), and report higher dissatisfaction or even separation risk. Congruency matters: consistent pill use (on or off) from relationship start predicts better outcomes. Evidence is mixed—some larger recent studies (2024–2025) find no strong effect on masculinity preferences or real-world changes—but multiple replicated findings support potential shifts, often in sexual chemistry more than broad personality. Individual responses vary hugely due to biology, relationship factors, and other side effects like libido changes or mood shifts. #Abstinence #GodsPlan #OralContraceptive #BirthControlPill #ThePill #HormonalContraception #FearResponse #MatePreferences #WomensHealth #SideEffects #PillSideEffects #MentalHealth #Libido #MoodChanges #BloodClots #HormonalHealth #ContraceptionFacts
image Context Matters. Culture Matters. In the ancient world, the sea was far more than a body of water—it was a realm of chaos, danger, and untamed power that no human could master. The Hebrew Scriptures repeatedly portray the sea as a force subdued only by God Himself, the sovereign Creator who alone stretches out the heavens and walks upon its waves. This divine imagery reaches a dramatic climax in the book of Job, where God’s unparalleled authority is celebrated in poetic terms. Centuries later, in the stormy darkness of the Sea of Galilee, a remarkable event unfolds that echoes this very language: Jesus of Nazareth walks across the turbulent waters toward His frightened disciples. For first-century Jews steeped in their sacred texts, this single act carried explosive theological weight, inviting them to confront a profound question—who is this man who does what only God can do? "Who alone stretches out the heavens And tramples down the waves of the sea;" Job 9:8 (NASB) This verse in the book of Job describes God as the sovereign Creator who uniquely exercises dominion over creation, including the power to trample down the waves of the sea. In ancient biblical and Near Eastern thought, the sea often symbolized chaos, disorder, and uncontrollable forces—powers that only God could subdue and walk upon. In the New Testament, Jesus performs this very act during a storm on the Sea of Galilee. "And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, 'It is a ghost!' And they cried out in fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” Matthew 14:25-27 (NASB) The shared imagery is striking: both passages depict treading or walking on the waves of the sea, an act portrayed as extraordinary and beyond human capability. Comparison of the Imagery Shared element: Both depict someone treading/walking on the waves of the sea, an act portrayed as extraordinary and impossible for ordinary humans. Key difference: Job 9:8 emphasizes that God alone does this as part of His cosmic authority (linked to stretching out the heavens). In Matthew (with parallels in Mark 6:45-52 and John 6:16-21), Jesus—a visible human figure—walks on the sea amid a storm, approaches His disciples, calms their fear, and (in the broader context) stills the wind. Additional layers in the Gospels: Jesus' words “It is I” (Greek: egō eimi, literally “I am” the name of YHWH God) echo God's self-revelation in the Old Testament (e.g., Exodus 3:14), further aligning with God's authority over nature. Implications for the Jews at That Time For first-century Jews familiar with the Hebrew Scriptures (including Job), this miracle would have been profoundly striking. The sea represented chaos and powers that only Yahweh could subdue—no human prophet, king, or figure in the Old Testament ever walks on water as an expression of personal authority. By walking on the sea, Jesus enacts what Scripture reserves for God alone, implying He shares in Yahweh's divine power and identity. His words “It is I” amplify the claim. The disciples' initial terror (thinking He was a ghost/spirit) and their eventual worship/response (especially in Matthew 14:33: “You are certainly God's Son!”) reflect this recognition. In a strict monotheistic Jewish context, such an act would be seen as either blasphemous (if false) or a direct revelation of God's presence in human form (if true). It contributes to the escalating claims in the Gospels that led to accusations of blasphemy against Jesus. Is It a Clear Statement? It is not an explicit verbal declaration like “I am God,” but it is a clear, powerful enacted statement through action. The allusion to Job 9:8 (and related passages like Psalm 77:19) would have been recognizable to biblically literate Jews, making the miracle a vivid demonstration rather than mere spectacle. Scholars widely note this as an epiphany of Jesus' divine identity—Jesus does what only God does, implying He is God in human form. While not every observer might have made the connection instantly (as the disciples initially did not), the theological intent in the Gospel narratives is unmistakable: this is a revelation of who Jesus truly is. #NateSala #WalkOnWater #Christ #Jesus #God #Job #Matthew #Gospel #Context #Culture
הִנְנִי שְׁלָחֵנִי Hineni Sh'lacheni Here I am! Send me. This phrase is one of the most powerful declarations of total surrender, availability, and obedience in the entire Bible. Hineni (הִנְנִי) appears several times in key moments when God calls someone for a major task (e.g., Abraham in Genesis 22:1 before the binding of Isaac; Moses at the burning bush in Exodus 3:4; young Samuel in 1 Samuel 3). • It is not a casual "I'm here" (like taking attendance). • It is far deeper: a heroic, unconditional "I present myself fully," "I'm ready and listening," "I place myself at Your disposal"—often before knowing the cost or details of the mission. • In prophetic and covenant contexts, it signals complete devotion, readiness to obey divine directives, even at great personal risk. Isaiah's use is especially striking because he volunteers without hesitation right after seeing God's holiness and confessing his own unworthiness (Isaiah 6:5). He essentially self-commissions in response to God's search for a messenger. The full phrase הִנְנִי שְׁלָחֵנִי combines self-presentation (hineni) with an eager imperative (send me!), turning Isaiah from a mere observer of God's glory into an active participant in His mission. It has inspired countless sermons, songs, and personal commitments as a model of radical willingness to serve God. "Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?' Then I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'..." Isaiah 6:8 The Lord is calling. Will you answer? #הִנְנִי #Hineni #HereIAm #SendMe #Calling #Christ #Jesus #God #YHWH #Bible image
"There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. I know this already. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy. Remember this. Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy. There are whole armies, battalions that have no idea that they've already enlisted in the cause. Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward. And then remember this: The Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. It has to be constantly asserted, reasserted, reinforced. Oppression is the mask of fear. Remember that. And know this, the day will come when all these skirmishes and battles, these moments of defiance will have flooded the banks of the Empire's authority and the tide will have turned. A small, bright light of hope will burn in the darkness, and it will spread like wildfire. And when it does, remember this: try." -Karis Nemik, Andor #Liberty #Tyranny #Empire #Rebellion #Andor #StarWars
Every law imposed by rulers—including elected officials—that does not repeal a prior restriction reduces someone's freedom of action. Therefore, beyond minimal consensual or protective norms, individual liberty tends to shrink as the volume and coerciveness of centralized, ruler-enforced law (even democratically selected) increases. #NonAggressionPrinciple #Coercion #Libertarian #Anarchism #ClassicalLiberalism #AntiStatism #Freedom #Liberty #MurrayRothbard #LysanderSpooner #FriedrichHayek #LudwigVonMises #AynRand

Instead, they were all of us were taught how to get to the heart of an issue very quickly by having this kind of this precept understanding that most people the things that they say are actually untrue. And they did not come to those thoughts on their own. They came to those thoughts because somebody else gave them to them. Most people can't control their thinking. They don't know how. That's a that's something you've learned. That's not a that's not something you're born with. When you become a follower of the Christ, everything changes: • Life gets easier • People treat you better • Money just seams to never be an issue • Nobody lies to you • Justice always seems to win out. This is what people seem to expect, but it is not what was promised. You will have hardship in your life. You will face injustice and deceit throughout your life. In short, there will be storms. It is not a question of IF but rather WHEN they will come. What will happen to you and the life you build when they arrive? Every brick you use to build that life will be imperfectly formed; tainted in some way. Some will be better than others. The structure of your life will be flawed from the very beginning. The only thing that gives us true hope of that structure holding firm is the foundation we build it upon. • If we build our lives based on the world's ideas of right and wrong, good and bad, security and insecurity, then it is like building your house on the sand at the beach. WHEN the storms come, the foundation will wash out from under the walls and the whole thing can come crashing down. • If we build our lives based on the teachings of Jesus and the revealed Word of God in the Bible, then it is like digging down to bedrock and anchoring a firm foundation to it to build you house on. Even though the individual bricks may be imperfect and flawed, the foundation holds firm and the house stands strong. The storms WILL come. Will you be ready for them? “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27 NASB #Foundation #Rock #Sand #Christ #Jesus #Bible #God

The Last Farewell (closing song from the last LOTR movie - The Hobbit : Battle of Five Armies) I saw the light fade from the sky On the wind I heard a sigh As the snowflakes cover my fallen brothers I will say this last goodbye Night is now falling So ends this day The road is now calling And I must away Over hill and under tree Through lands where never light has shone By silver streams that run down to the Sea Under cloud, beneath the stars Over snow and winter's morn I turn at last to paths that lead home And though where the road then takes me I cannot tell Night is now falling So ends this day The road is now calling And I must away Over stone and under tree Through lands where never light has shone By silver streams that run down to the Sea Under cloud, beneath the stars Many places I have been Many sorrows I have seen But I don't regret Nor will I forget All who took that road with me To these memories I will hold With your blessing I will go To turn at last to paths that lead home And a journey now begins And though where it ends I cannot tell Night is now falling So ends this day The road is now calling And I must away Over hill and under tree Through lands where never light has shone By silver streams that run down to the Sea Under cloud, beneath the stars One day I'll take the roads again But until then Farewell, my friends Farewell By far my favorite author and story. Something to consider, think really hard about this: QUERY: 1) Is it against the law for congress and the senate to lie to the public? 2) What about State Governments? 3) Is it against the law for ANY government official to lie to the public? GROK: 1) No, it is not against the law for members of Congress (Representatives) or the Senate (Senators) to lie to the public in most circumstances. There is no general federal criminal statute that makes it illegal for elected members of Congress to make false statements to the American people, constituents, the media, or the public at large — even when those statements are knowingly false. 2) No, it is generally not against the law for members of state legislatures (state senators or representatives) to lie to the public, and the legal protections are very similar to those for federal Congress members. Most states have their own versions of the Speech or Debate Clause in their state constitutions. These clauses provide broad immunity for statements made during official legislative proceedings (e.g., floor debates, committee hearings, votes, or reports). Just like the federal clause, this protects state legislators from criminal prosecution, civil lawsuits (such as defamation), or other "questioning" for what they say in those contexts — even if the statements are knowingly false. 3) No, it is generally not against the law for any government official (federal, state, or local) in the United States to lie to the public. There is no broad federal or state criminal statute that makes it illegal for government officials — including presidents, governors, mayors, agency heads, police officers (in public statements), legislators, or other public servants — to knowingly make false statements to the general public, the media, constituents, or citizens at large. #PoliticiansLie #LyingPoliticians #PoliticiansAreLiars #GovernmentLies #GovernmentCorruption #CorruptPoliticians #Transparency #Accountability #PoliticalCorruption #Corruption #GovernmentCorruption #Transparency #Accountability #PoliticalCorruption #Corruption #GovernmentCorruption #Politics #Government #Politicians #Corrupt
There are connections here that I never knew. The Jews would have recognized these details... Mary anoints Jesus but the disciples fail to see the significance. All they see is wasted money. • Dead bodies anointed during burial preparations • Kings anointed • Priests anointed • The temple and it's various implements anointed • Messiah MEANS Anointed One Judas paid 30 pieces of silver, Zechariah paid 30 pieces of silver for his services as a prophet as an insult, 30 pieces of silver the price of the life of a slave. Judas throws the silver back to the priests in the temple and they buy the potter's field with it, Zechariah throws the silver back into the potter in the temple rejecting the payment and insult. "Not every military bombing campaign leads to a wider war, and not every regime change is guaranteed to be the catastrophe that Iraq or Libya was, but it does always creates a risk of that. An entire world war was started over one political assassination. Countless catastrophic wars have started with limited engagement. When you start dropping bombs and killing people and toppling governments, you inherently risk unintended consequence and unavoidable escalation. The big knock (or the only one they can come up with) on me and the non-interventionist right more broadly, is that we overreacted to this threat of the 12 day war and are doing the same now. But, how on earth after the last 25 years and the last 7 disastrous wars can you NOT be concerned about that threat? When you bomb a country who hasn’t attacked you or you topple the leader of a nation the risk of getting into a bloody and costly war is real. It is absolutely an unacceptable risk to take and I genuinely don’t understand how anyone who loves this country would accept it. I don’t think this is going to be another Iraq or Afghanistan. My guess is it won’t be Libya either. But the possibility of a catastrophe is not zero and there’s a good chance this will make things worse. No wise leader would take this risk to his own country for such an unnecessary regime change." #NonInterventionist #NonIntervention #RegimeChange #war #WorldPolice #Empire image

Here is a short look at one of the passages prophetically referring to Jesus. (Please feel free to add to the notes I have already included) Isaiah 53 1 "Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; [referring to another prophecy not "a shoot" but rather "THE shoot"- Isaiah 11:1 "Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse,"] He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. [Jesus was not born into a wealthy or politically connected family, rather, he was born to a young common woman and a lower class man. Nothing about His birth or appearance would have given Him advantage] 3 He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. [Roman crucifixion—a common punishment for rebels, slaves, and perceived threats—was equated with "hanging on a tree" in Jewish thought. The wooden crossbeam or stake was seen as the "tree" (xylon in Greek Septuagint translations), and crucified persons fell under the Deuteronomic curse. This made crucifixion not only physically torturous and humiliating (public naked exposure, slow death) but theologically damning: it signaled the victim was rejected by God; Deuteronomy 21:22–23:"If a man has committed a sin worthy of death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for he who is hanged is accursed of God, so that you do not defile your land."] 5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, [Jesus was nailed to a cross and later a spear pierced  His side to ensure that He was truly dead] He was crushed for our iniquities;[Jesus was beaten severely in the time between his "trials" and his crucifixion] The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. [Jesus was whipped with a cat-of-9-tails 39 times] 6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him. 7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; [Jesus did not curse or condemn those who carried out His execution] Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth. [Jesus did not resist being taken and executed] 8 By oppression and judgment He was taken away; And as for His generation, who considered That He was cut off out of the land of the living For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due? 9 His grave was assigned with wicked men, [Jesus died a criminal's death and His body would have been disposed of as such] Yet He was with a rich man in His death, [Joseph of Arimathea, a wealthy follower of Jesus, gave up his own tomb for Jesus to be buried in] Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. [Jesus was innocent in every way. He committed no crimes to be punished for] 10 But the Lord was pleased To crush Him, putting Him to grief; If He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, And the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand. 11 As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; [The traditional Hebrew text doesn’t have “the light”. But both the oldest known Greek translation of the TeNaKh (The Septuagint) and the Isaiah scroll found among the Dead Sea Scrolls reads “he shall see the light and be satisfied (יראה אור ישביע) which is most likely the original text. To see the light means to live. So the servant will live again as a reward for his sacrifice and will have victory over death. Messiah himself will be satisfied with what he accomplished through his suffering.] By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, As He will bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the booty with the strong; Because He poured out Himself to death, [Jesus went through all the events leading to His death on the cross willingly, knowing in advance what was to happen] And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors." #Jesus #Christ #Messiah #Prophecy #Isaiah #Bible #Tenakh #Septuagint #Hebrew #Greek #Jew #Crucifixion #Cross image
