Got to hang out with a family friend this evening. She was born in 1929. She still works at the hospital. Still drives. Still goes bowling with other seniors once a week. Still goes to concerts. Lives by herself in a beautiful house which she takes care of extremely well. She has lived through the Great Depression, several wars, covid, and has outlived two husbands. She’s truly got a perspective on life that almost no one has these days. Plus she’s funny as hell. #plebchain
