One thing that AI will not take from you is the enjoyment of doing something. AI can pop out a picture quicker than I can draw one, but I thoroughly enjoy making art. AI can summarize a book for you, but the experience of sitting down with a cup of coffee and a great book is something that humans will always have.

Yesterday I went to a local bookstore and taught some folks how to make paracord keychains with carabiners on them. I provided all the materials so it was a good free experience for people to learn a new creative skill. In a few weeks I’m going to teach a class on making paper plants. I’ll be providing all the materials for that too, so all you’d need to participate is an interest in being creative. Another time I’m gonna teach a drawing class. The bookstore has no problem with this since there’s no money involved. These folks would never have had the money to sign up for a class on making crafty stuff. In my opinion, Freedom Tech isn’t just about digital technology, it’s about removing fiat barriers to learning skills. #proofofwork #freedomtech
