Theres a little bookstore in town that was set up to be a place where homeless folks can come in for free coffee and a snack and chill out. No expectations, sort of like the soup kitchen i volunteer at. It’s nice that there’s a place where people who are really in tough situations can have a little dignity. I teach little classes there sometimes, I showed some folks how to make paracord bracelets a few weeks ago, and another time I showed some other folks how to make paper plants. Today I taught some folks how to paint a sunset. It was cold and rainy outside and it really brought some smiles and peace that was much needed. Please reach out to people. We’re only on earth for a few decades.
