My cousin came to visit America from Hong Kong with his wife recently last month. He actually told me that, America is not a destination or place to strive being anymore. There are so many mass shooters on the daily. The safety of its citizens are compromised because the right to bare arms is inshrined in the founding constitution of the United States. He was happy that his daughter chose to study in England rather than Atlanta. This is coming from my Ivy League educated cousin who studied at UPenn in the 90s! When I was 14, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Later that year in the summer time, my first job was as an administrator for the Recreation department in City hall. The soccer ball, football or any ball…is the first toy that children play with each other. The soccer ball is the universal first toy of all congregations of children. Its actually beautiful to think of the innocence of unbiased children playing together in a field playing kickball of some type. We must nurture our children to grow up as innate unbiased human beings that they are. Racism or any discrimination can be avoided if we all teach tolerance amongst our children going up. This is one of the reasons why I love soccer! Not to mention that football/soccer is the world’s most popular sport! The kickball is unbiased child’s play. ☺️
