notes from a day out ... visiting an ai conference, the technology is fascinating and will undoubtedly help build a better world. the scariest part of it all out of the 100+ people in the room ... not one person questioned the fact they willingly giving everything to possibly the most vile man on the planet ..... the complete lack of understanding that they were willingly, not only giving up their privacy but trading their business ip and every thought ..... lemmings over a cliff. it didn't stop there .... wearables, glasses, microphones and other devices that track everything you see and hear, feeding it all back to the central database trying to build this dystopian world. they lapped it up .... even the organiser when asked if I could photograph his driving license, which got a predictable NO!!!, didn't understand the privacy implications of what he was selling. there are days when it seems a daunting battle. then there are days when karma shows you patience and perseverance will be rewarded. knowing the obstacle to negotiate, makes the journey that little bit easier. is the tide turning? Bitcoin news of the week clearly took our attention to Capitol Hill: Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky) introduced legislation that seeks to end the Fed. Legislation SAB 121 passed in the Senate, allowing financial firms to custody Bitcoin. Biden threatened to veto pro-crypto legislation, then quickly reversed his stance. Trump says, "If you're in favor of crypto, you'd better vote for Trump.” Senator Lummis takes a pepperoni pizza lunch break. The SEC fast-tracked and approved Ethereum ETFs. Trump's campaign began accepting crypto donations. US House passed crypto bill FIT21. US House passed a bill to ban the Federal Reserve from creating a CBDC.
