Things I often have to remind myself: -I don't have to have an opinion on things I've never investigated/studied myself. -There is always someone smarter than me with a radically different opinion. -Experts in one particular field shouldn't be beyond scrutiny on subjects they aren't experts on simply because they've proved to be competent in an unrelated area. -The loudest group is often full of people with strong opinions loosely held.
