Let’s pretend you do something to help your Mum every day during the week, and she pays you with one spoon of ice-cream every day. Let’s say you wanted to keep the spoons of ice-cream, so you can have a big ice-cream to share with your friend on the weekend. You’d have to put it somewhere right? If you put it in the fridge, it’ll slowly melt and you wouldn’t have any left by the weekend... But if you put it in the freezer it’ll still be there, nice and cold, for the weekend. Bitcoin is like a freezer for the money that you make when you work. A normal bank is like a fridge, your money slowly melts away unless you use it right away. Bitcoin is like having a freezer that only you can open, and it keeps your money good for a long time... so you can use it whenever you want to and share it with anyone you'd like to :)
