I don’t understand how a Blackrock ETF can work. As buyers pile in, price surges, and Blackrock is perpetually buying bitcoin to back those orders at a price slightly higher than each order was placed. Losing on every new participant. Don’t tell me they bought it all in advance — at some point they run out of pre-purchased supply. Don’t tell me they just use paper bitcoin — they will eventually be rekt like FTX.

Random example of bitcoin utility: Historically, if I were going to prison for say 10 years, I’d likely lose all my assets or at best have to entrust them to fam/friends who might steal/waste/lose, and I’d come out destitute. Today, I could liquidate everything, buy bitcoin, put it behind 12 words, and carry it in my mind for the duration of my prison sentence, and (likely) come out richer. (Not a criminal, just randomly occurred to me)
