I finally found the time to start this year’s garden. At the moment, I’ve planted onions and sown carrots and swiss chard. I still have tomatoes, lettuce, beetroot, and zucchini left to plant. I might sow some arugula as well. The strawberries should yield well since I can see flowers on each plant. The soil was covered with black tarp for several months. I’ve been practicing that for a few years because it warms up the beds well and eliminates weeds, so I don’t have too much work. What’s left is to aerate the soil a bit with a garden fork and add some compost. That’s it for now. I hope the garden will be as productive as in previous years. #garden #notill #gardening #proofofwork #nostr
