Today we stopped by a client's property to check on the progress of their raised bed garden, and things are looking fantastic! From tiny seeds just a few weeks ago to healthy, thriving vegetables, it's exciting to see the transformation taking place. Our goal isn't just to build garden beds and walk away. We partner with families through the entire process—from planning and planting to harvesting and troubleshooting along the way. I love this time of year. We get to see the fruits of our labor. Swales filling with water, soaking deep into the soil in prep for our hot, humid, dry summer. The fruit trees are in their leap year and they are getting some great growth. We've left some canopy from the oaks, black locust, and smooth sumac. Its truly feeling like a food forest now. #permies #grownostr

Another weekend coaching at the ballfield. Had some time this morning to go for a walk to discover some new things as the land wakes up this spring. It's always a surprise to see what the land will provide when its properly cared for. #regenerative #homestead #spring

Felt like a kid today during our 89er Truck show. (Basically a week long founders day celebration dating back to the landrun) The trucks did a parade and the guys on the corner kept haggling them to "burn out". Oh boy was it cool... little did these out of towners know they were doing it in front of the county jail hehehe!!!

Had to get is some of this soap. Once you go homemade soap, you never go back to the junk shit. Usually get some from our local goat farmer. This time we're paying with sats. Thanks @SoapMiner

What a great #sunset at the ballfield tonight

#peaches 🍑 This huge 25-30ft peach tree was a volunteer growing when we moved to this property 6 years ago. It has fruited out 3x. I've attempted to graft known varieties onto it but have failed each time. Its surrounded by our state tree, the Oklahoma Redbud. Hoping the deer leave them alone long enough for me to snatch one up. #homestead #grownostr
