Satoshi should have left us with an IO black box with 3 things placed inside:
1. His private key
2. His LLM (i know size goes brr post-obfuscation)
3. A Nostr client
Brollup is doing what Fedimint was meant to do. You have a channel and your channel counterparty is an MPC quorum rather than an individual.
I’m shocked that Fedimint does’t work this way at all! It’s just a single node managing the channel.
What is the federation for then? 😀
What’s genuinely relieving about Brollup is that no other project can simply come and fork it, as the ASP liquidity can’t be replicated.
Meanwhile, in the crypto space, a new smart chain pops up every day with a new token.
I came up with the idea for NOIST last year, and then got the code ready, and now have the test vectors. The formal spec will be ready this week, the demo next week, and the security proof this year. 😎
