Yes you can make mustard at home! Simply soak mustard seeds in vinegar or beer for 2 days at a 2:1 liquid to seeds ratio, add a little salt and hit it with the stick blender. Mustard greens are really easy to grow and as a bonus tbey act as a pest trap for the bug that like to eat broccoli and cabbage so for my southerm hemisphere friends its mustard planting time right now. Time to have a go at growing and making your own mustard. Ill be adding a little honey to this batch to sweeten it up a bit.

More than just the weed control. We added Chiva and MowMow onto the homestead over a year ago. They have been brilliant at managing weeds and maintaining their primary paddock. But so much more than that they seek out our company for pats, snacks and the occasional tethered walk around the property Nothing beats the soft nuzzles, bleated greetings, and the endless antics that turn a backyard into a comedy club. Feeling sad... Get a goat!!

As I'm settling into being a mum I have an overwhelming desire to mother at an executive level of skill and dedication. I just want to be the very best mum I can be. And every day I'm starting to suspect that motherhood is going to be a lifelong practice of letting go. I love my little guy so much and he is simply the best thing I've ever done and I want to be the best version of me for him.
