My biggest question about bitcoins success is how will miners make enough money after the last Bitcoin has been mined? Fees? Will that be enough incentive to keep them working?

Lightning Network needs to make it easier to setup a node on top of Bitcoin core. I'm pretty savvy with this shit and still haven't been successful setting up LN.

I've been trying to set up a Lightning Network node on a laptop designated for this purpose. The laptop is running Linux Mint and i already have Bitcoin Core installed on it so it is a fully functional node, but my attempts to make it into a LN node have been futile. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.
