Is now the time for El Salvador and the Bitcoiner community to unite to save the project? Idea: El Salvador pledges its 6k BTC stack as collateral for a 30-yr USD 7bn bond issuance to be invested in primarily by all Bitcoiners and Bitcoin companies (i.e. Strike, Fold, Blockstream, etc) with an interest in the BTC experiment continuing in El Salvador. Proceeds to be used by El Salvador to refinance its existing debt and invest in infrastructure etc. No need for any IMF funds. Future mining revenues can also be partly pledged to repay such bond issuance. Time to put up or shut up. Posts are easy, risk taking is hard. What do you think?

20 yrs ago, voters were given a choice between two Bonesmen. In this respect, not much has changed.
Both candidates are ultimately acceptable to the establishment as neither has any intent to phase out or even properly audit the Federal Reserve, neither will champion common sense policies like term limits for federal elective office and reining in the spending bonanza around federal campaigns (8 figure congressional races and 10 figure presidential campaigns are a hallmark of a corrupted process and rotting the country to its core), both will increase the national debt, both will try to maintain the American empire in the geopolitical context (see recent Trump Bloomberg interview re tariffs on countries exiting USD, which is actually very hostile for nation-state adoption of BTC), both will maintain foreign military alliances which the founders (GW at his farewell address and TJ in numerous quotes) warned to abstain from, and both will allow special interests to plunder (Wall Street, big pharma, military-industrial complex, etc).
Trump = financial life-jacket for the corporate media who pretend to hate him and he has conveniently vacuumed all air time from reformers and libertarian-minded types who fail the imperial test (i.e. Rand Paul).
The Zeitgeist overwhemingly favors the Audit the Fed campaign (more so than in 2008/2012) but there is no measurable progress/chatter about it.
The beauty of BTC is it adoption is a choice for what we actually want as users not the 'lesser of two evils'. Our uncomprising insistence on freedom money has done wonders for our planet even though we are in a minority. I struggle to see logic in approaching politics differently if we want the same impact in that arena.
