Success! 🥳🤯 With help of the amazing guide by @PivotalPlebTech & inspiration by @altair_tech I’ve modified an APW12 Bitmain PSU to run on 120v for home pleb mining! Just slip it into your chassis & remove the 240v & your hashing. The 120v limits you to about 50% of the ASIC capacity but it’s native 120v without the need for any LOKI adapter kits! Anyone need one?

These Vonets handle between 5-24v depending on the model but usually range 5-15v without the need for a step-down adapter. Feeds power directly from the 6-pin socket on the bottom. What do you think? Anyone see any issue with doing this on LOKI builds?

Added a new washable 1” air filter to my #Bitaxe Gamma. Keeps the gamma pristine with a minuscule reduction of airflow. White PLA helps easily detect cleaning cycles Adding additional filters to my other solo miners today.

Bitcoiners, It’s at the point now that we all need to consider the following: #1 self-custodial spending wallet with both sats & BTC like @AQUA Wallet @Wallet of Satoshi or @BULL BITCOIN (even better with in-app atomic swaps to LiquidBTC & USDT). #2 small travel wallet like @Tangem - a common form factor (card) that isn’t noticeable or trigger questions from Immigration officials (unlike common dedicated mainstream hardware wallets). Low key OPsec but still protected. #3 known KYC hardware wallet that all exchange purchases, sales & activities which are subject to capital gains tax & reporting. (address declared & known to authorities) #4 completely segregated non-KYC wallet that never has sats or on-chain BTC mixed from your other wallets. This is a mining hardware wallet, a peer-to-peer bitcoin receiving wallet. You should enforce plausible deniability on it. Have a decoy number of transactions & balance without a passphrase - just seed. Under duress people can access the limited (sub 0.1 worth of bitcoin). On the same hardware wallet & seed phrase a hidden passphrase wallet with your bag Just stuff I’m thinking about. As the value of Bitcoin climes & tax authorities coming knocking, you don’t want to mix KYC & non-KYC sats IMO. What do you think?
