OpenAI needs to up their game with their model cards. Biggest model ever and the system card doesn't include chat logs, error bars, or even a model welfare section? The highlight of my month is usually seeing a new Anthropic model relase and settling down with some snacks while reading their beautiful 300-page system card PDF. Though then again Anthropic has never released an open-weights LLM.

Abortion deserves to be medical care. Contraception deserves to be medical care. Prescription medicine deserves to be medical care. Gender-affirming surgery deserves to be medical care. Fertility treatment does not. If you live in a country where IVF, IUI, ICSI, or other assistive reproductive technologies are funded by a single-payer health care programme, see if you can join a campaign to criminalise fertility treatment. It's a market where, globally, £20-40 billion yearly (from both taxpayers and vulnerable families) are wasted. We can use this money more wisely – on improving access to contraceptives, adoption services, and foster care: areas which actually do improve quality of life for families and help build equality for everyone.
