Been binging on Professor Jiang with the wife. Thoughts: - How the fuck is this allowed on YouTube? I thought yt censored everything, apparently the pent up demand for uncensored thought is coming out. Something about this though makes me wonder if its in someones inerest for this content to be avalable, or if there's an ideological stalemate at yt. - this guy is a free thinker. I might agree with some things, disagree with others, but none of his stuff is couched in anything resembling a side. - mind blowing bangers dropped like nonchalant common wisdom. This dude has thought a lot about his worldview and reasoned through it. - people who experience first hand, almost natively, other cultures often bring fantastically fresh perspectives when examining things. This is very valuable. - how is this allowed in China??? I thought China was this unopen society, and I'm not immediately going to say it isn't, but the fact that this is an English class in a Beijing high school is just mind blowing. - Moonshot Academy is a hell of an institutional education experiment. I highly recommend his channel (Predictive History on YouTube), even, or even *especially*, if you hate hearing what the guy is saying.
