How a PSBT workflow works: the transaction is drafted on your hot machine, exported as a QR code, signed by the air-gapped machine, carried back on another QR. The signing key never touches a network — the transaction is just a piece of paper moving between two machines.

Every self-custody setup has one weak point: the machine that signs. It's *supposed* to stay offline. "Supposed to" is not a security control — it's a hope. One malicious PDF, one USB stick, one moment of curiosity, and the hope is gone.
