Hey @jack I have a huge amount of respect for you for this honest communication with your employees. I wish more CEOs had the balls to communicate directly and honestly with employees. How much of this was from redundant roles and how much from workplace automation? Curious to see what levels you have been able to hit with automation as someone who works in that space.

I saved a 12 week old puppy that was being attacked by an elk hound pit bull mix. Almost tore his leg completely off. It cost me $3800 in vet bills to keep him alive and save his leg. I ended up keeping him as my own. 8 years later he saved my life from a buck that tried to kill me in my backyard. The buck had lowered his head and charged at my back while I wasn't even looking at him, and my dog charged him bit him on the back leg and got dragged across the yard. 🙏 we were both okay. 2 years later that same buck jumped into my yard over the fence and charged at my toddler son. That same dog busted through the screen door charged the buck head on and bit his throat. This time he wasn't as lucky and got gored by an antler in his back leg, but he saved my son's life. Vet bill to patch him up that time was $700. Sometimes acts of kindness towards God's creatures pay in dividends in life. The 1st picture of him is the day after he got attacked as a puppy. He had multiple surgeries, vacuum assisted wound closure, was in a cast for 8 months, and I had to do physical therapy with him in a pool for 6 months after that. Worth every ounce of effort I gave him. He's an old man now. 12 years old, but he's still my dude rarely leaves my side. PS I killed that deer after the 2nd incident. I gave his rack to my dogs as chew toys and the rest stocked my freezer.
