Art has a strange way of travelling. I created this piece from something deeply personal. Then one day, it became the cover of EINUNDZWANZIG. Thousands of people could suddenly see something that once existed only inside my head. That’s what I love about art. You never really know where a piece will end up, who will connect with it, or what it might become part of. I’m not interested in creating more things for the world. I never wanted to create art just to fill walls. Every piece begins somewhere. A thought. A memory. A question. Sometimes something I can’t fully explain. And then I paint. Eventually the artwork leaves my hands and becomes part of someone else’s life. That’s something I still find strange and beautiful. A piece of my story becomes part of yours. And maybe, years from now, someone will look at it and ask: What was happening when this was created? That’s the kind of art I want to leave behind. Not decoration. Every artwork carries a part of that. Fear. Confusion. Hope. Freedom. Belief. Life. And over the years, these pieces have become more than paintings to me. Together, they are building a story. A legacy of what I experienced, what I believe in, and what I want to leave behind. But I’ve been thinking about something lately. Until now, the stories behind my art have mostly been mine. What happens when the story begins with someone else? Not someone telling me what to paint. Someone trusting me with something real. A memory. An experience. A belief. A moment that should not disappear. And allowing me to see it through my eyes. Maybe that becomes the beginning of something new. Your story. My interpretation. An original mx12Art. Everything happens for a reason. I don’t say that because everything that happened was good. Some moments were terrifying. Some painful. Some I can’t even remember. But they became part of who I am. This was the second artwork I created in this special original series. A piece of fear, confusion, survival, and belief transformed into something that can live beyond me.
