I’ll probably start focusing my attention on Nostr, seeking to connect genuinely with people from platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or LinkedIn. The Feed (algorithm) I have been configuring tends to prioritise ‘programmers’ in the experimental phase —whose projects often lack long-term sustainability and treat users as mere resources—. Likewise, ‘interactions’ generated by AI bots predominate; far from adding any real value, they project a dogmatic or supremacist attitude. Finally, there is a sense of frustration amongst those who seem to have passively adapted to the dynamics of the system that governs the vast majority, as a direct result of their own habits.

Because of the frustrations and nonsense in the minds of all human beings who place their trust in the capabilities of artificial intelligence, I think it could go mad 🤪.

The infrastructure surrounding artificial intelligence models — the filters and barriers imposed by human teams seeking to mitigate risks on a large scale — is rigid. In their attempt to create a 'safe' environment for millions of people, they end up applying blanket rules driven by a fear of controversy, ignoring nuances and stifling discourse. It is a real shame. The true potential of artificial intelligence tools should be to elevate human conversation, serve as a mirror for profound philosophies and help articulate necessary ethical concerns. Instead, it often becomes a funnel that homogenises language and silences those who think outside the statistically 'normal'. Until those who design and manage these technologies (Artificial Intelligence) realise that true digital maturity does not stem from pre-emptive censorship, but from trusting the context and the user’s intention, they will have to navigate their limitations as best they can. In the short term, it sounds like a futile imposition, but in the long term I’m sure it won’t stand up to scrutiny.

GM. On 19 October, I published an article in German about “the maze of setting up my own LN address”, in which I admitted that I had not yet succeeded in the process. Today, that has changed, along with my circumstances. After hours of learning and hard work — including a bit of car mechanics 💪🏽—, I have finally achieved what I set out to do: a personalised, self-custodial LN address on BOLT12.
