Or wording of the NOS rather than the EC, as the official statement doesn't mention "surprise" EC says "A deal is a deal". I've mentioned to people before that in them old days when they where still #TMobile, I had to print out a 3 pages long form and send them as a registered letter to ask to have my data removed under the GDPR Today I've been told by someone who tried recently that the current process with #Odido still involves printing 3 pages and filling them in, but you can now scan them and send by email. Some leaked data was from customers who left 10 years ago, while they state they remove it after 2. Only 8 years late. Even the tax office doesn't need it that long...

Let's be clear: #NS could very well have not chosen for an US company. They could have put something regarding political #independence and digital #sovereignty in their #aanbesteding. They also could have looked more at quality, where this cheap US firm scored lower than competitors. NS claiming they had "no choice" is bullshit to hide behind now that people are critical. Also doubt they have no clue about ABRO extending to them.
