I feel like my son is progressing at the same rate as AI models. When I ask him to do something, there's the moment I watch to see if he understands and does it correctly. And them I'm so impressed. Except with AI I have no grace and curse at it.

It's quite annoying that many model providers are now including their own tooling like image gen etc and it automatically used those tools without a way of disabling it. I was using minimax with openclaw, but had my own skills for local image gen. But now the model is suddenly preferring its own image gen tools instead of mine. And I can't find a configurable way to disable this.

Remember when nostr used to be filled with hugs and zaps and hope etc. ? I'm seeing a lot more cynicism and child-like angry discourse. A little sad, but maybe more of a realistic spread!

Grateful for no fires. Had my Bitchimney running overnight (as I've been doing for months) in the bathroom. It first serves to heat the room when my babies bath and also dries all the washing hanging there. Got there this morning to a strange smell.. And it sounded like it was running normally and the room was warm. Last night before bed I heard it restarting a number of times. It had been having some inconsistencies starting up. The vnish firmware would sometimes not recognize the chips. But other times it would run perfect lol normal. The power cable had also recently started getting really hot so I thought maybe it had bent etc and had just installed a new one last night! No idea what happened but it doesn't look happy. Will open it up later. And I'd recently just started using it to dry 3d printing filament too.. now I'll need to adjust a number of things in my life without this. We enjoyed our 3 years together. #heatpunks #mining4heat

Help me see why this Cant/wont happen with #cashu. Say I am a merchant that wants to allow both cashu and lightning payments. I am happy to use a third party mint I “trust” for this example. I also want to enable lightning payments but running a lightning node is a pain. Cant I just give customers a minting invoice and let them pay it for me with lightning, effectively using the cashu mints lightning node to provide lightning payments for my shop? #askdevs
