Morning garden report is this is the way. More I do this more I realize that this was something missing in my life. I’m still really bad at it, but coming out to this sight every morning just makes life better

I live on 14.5 acres in Amish country in Ohio. I have raised chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits & sheep. I’ve planted cherries, hazelnuts, peaches, mulberries, paw paws, apples, pears & nectarines. I garden (badly) but I am learning more every year. I work remotely for a bank as a mortgage underwriter- fingers crossed I am still doing that when you read this.
I hunt on my land - have gotten 5 deer since I moved out here. Into everything homesteading.
I forgot to post the garden report again today! Slipping in my old age.

Todays garden report is spinach!y husband is a pizza fiend & tonight we’re having a feta & spinach pizza with lamb sausage. I’m hoping it’ll be fantastic

Todays garden report is my husband’s asparagus bed. We put roots in it a few years ago & the plan is to let it go to seed repeatedly & then done on asparagus for the next 20 years. Hopefully next year we get to have some.

Todays garden report is spinach, some lettuce & amaranth. Most of this spinach got picked right after for my breakfast. I like this, this is good.

Forgot to post my coffee pic today. Today’s garden update is horseradish & strawberries. Sitting at my desk now looking at a deer out of my window. Life is good!
