Memory for a Past That Never Was You`re Out Of Touch I`m Out Of Time Don't trust Verify
The attack on Iran, or rather the reaction of the remaining Iranian leaders, is something that is beyond my comprehension. I don't understand their motivation. Any rational reasoning fails. Why are they doing this? They are high-ranking officials, but not the highest, and they were used to obeying the regime uncritically. They are definitely not doing it to help the Iranians; even they cannot lie to themselves about that after tens of thousands of murders. Why don't they make a deal with Trump? It's not even about power; on the contrary, the support of American aircraft carriers would guarantee them that. Is it just a parasite of the idea of the state that has taken control of them and is trying to survive by any means necessary? I always end up with the same thought. The state is a parasitic life form.
