I don’t know if I’m 100% and Objectivist but my moral/ethical framework certainly starts from there (I mostly quibble over certain assessments of the nature of of reality, but egoism and my love for my life and my loved ones as the ultimate standard of value… but I digress …) With that in mind, this is a great framing of many topics I care deeply about, and revolving around the topic of 9/11 #neverforget

Knowing if some propaganda or assertion is true is not enough. Ask yourself how to best frame it… Your leaders and enemies — everyone— will frame information to shape your behavior to suit their purposes. Make sure your frameworks of information suit your purposes.

America is a great place for people who have got a “no chill” mode and want to build. Terrible place if you have an unhealthy envy of those same people. The temptation to go nihilistic is always there and we must fight that meme in our society.
