i tried to like the trendy note taking methods. but i realized the reason i cant build a second brain that way, is because my brain doesnt work that way. hyperlinks to related thoughts is fun, but when i want to organize something for later reference, i want it to be a well organized hierarchy. 🤷

the solar unit is a little self contained panel/battery/output. most of them have 12v output which means you can wire them to a little 2 dollar car lighter socket phone charger, and youve got a device charging backup.

i realized today that i haven’t listened to any radio streams, podcasts, or commentary videos about anything remotely political or cultural in over a week. totally isolated from the latest thing.
