this is done and working. one thing i'm experimenting with is having the video be heavily encoded (like 360p) to try to hit nostr.builds upload limit. but for high quality video uploads of any length + multiple bitrates (fast loading), you will need a purple sub. i think this makes sense and is an actual path of sustainability for damus dev! as i put together the new testflight for damus today, i've started working on a new damus purple feature: reliable video uploads of any size. large video is notoriously unreliable on damus atm. this will fix that. it will enable uploading of fast loading, high quality video streams for your nostr content. stay tuned.

i added shokushu-rec for recording wav with embedded timecodes synced in realtime from a tentacle sync over bluetooth. I created a test ISO recording using two iphones + blackmagic camera that were also synced to these timecode boxes. in davinci resolve you can create a multicam video from the source records when the timecodes are synced... i have never edited a video before in my life and this made it a breeze. check it out: View quoted note →
