So, I recently learned that Nostr users are referred to as "Nostriches." I think that's awesome. While thinking of ostriches may evoke images of an oddly shaped bird that buries its head in the sand (which is a myth), I think it's much more positive. Nostriches don't bury their head in ignorance. Instead they: * Keep their head down - flying under the radar * Stay humble - respecting others and their path * Stay focused - not distracted by negativity and naysayers * Stay private - not making themselves a target * Stay strong - not wavering in their convictions and beliefs * Stay connected - supporting others and the community * Stay consistent - stacking Sats and furthering the acceptance of Bitcoin I think Nostriches are amazing and I'm happy to be here among them. Merry Christmas everyone! Today is also my birthday. I'm 56. I've been in crypto for almost 4 years now, mostly altcoins and shitcoins. A few weeks ago I discovered some Bitcoin purists on YouTube and I've been binging on content ever since. Now I'm completely "orange pilled" and feel as if I've been awakened from a mindless coma.
