I'm honestly still processing Venezuela, but good point.
I want out of the "world police" business and I do not support attacking sovereign nations (1) because of their sovereignty, and (2) because you then disperse the financial burden on the American taxpayer without a vote.
Then you reflect on the drug trafficking, the stolen Venezuelan election, the people in the streets in Venezuela AND the US cheering and crying with personal anecdotes of persecution and execution by the Maduro administration...as well as China/Russia getting cozy within easier striking distance...and it becomes a complex topic.
Since the damage is done, I think they should install the president who SHOULD have won the election, perhaps consult in regard to rebuilding infrastructure/etc that has worsened under Maduro admin...and then GET.OUT.
We do not need another Middle East forever war, fighting rebels, large money drain from US taxpayers, etc.
