Reasons to Praise God There’s a verse in the Bible that has some people scratching their heads and wondering what in the world did God mean? It’s found in James 1:2, where it says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.” Now, one might say, “Just wait one minute! Does God actually want me to enjoy my heartache?” Well, of course not! Keep on reading verse 3, “because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” And verse 4, “Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” God is perfecting our characters, to prepare us for heaven, and we must persevere to stay strong, fight the good fight, and finish the race! There’s a reason God allows us to experience trials, although it doesn’t mean every time we go through heartache, that it’s God’s fault - sometimes life just happens as the result of sin! But how we respond to our hard times is what’s important! Instead of blaming God - lean on Him! Ask for strength, courage, and comfort and you’ll find that working through each trial grows perseverance that is faith-building and even in the midst of the trial, you’ll find reasons to praise God! Text: Romans 5:3-4, 2 Thessalonians 3:5, Hebrews 12:1, 1 Peter 1:6-7 image

@ShoHaNa🦋 #heartormind I chose “I listen to my mind.” As time goes by and as I mature, I have learned to prioritize my thoughts over my emotions. Problems also become more complex as we grow, and we cannot always let our feelings or our hearts lead our decisions. At the end of the day, I become more productive and make better choices when I use my mind and think logically rather than simply following my emotions. @MaeB image
There are moments when we wake up in the morning and we don’t feel like ourselves. Everything feels a little heavier, and sometimes we don’t even know why. For women, especially during our period, these feelings can be stronger because of hormonal changes that affect our emotions, mood, and cravings. I personally cope with those moments by allowing myself to enjoy the food that I’m craving. Sometimes, a simple comfort food can bring a little happiness and help me feel better while going through those changes. It’s okay to have days when we’re not at our best. What matters is that we learn to understand ourselves and give ourselves the care we need. How about you? When you have your menstrual period, do you also experience cravings? What food do you usually crave, and why? image
😊 image
Things I Am Grateful For This Morning This morning, I want to take a moment to appreciate the things I have and the blessings I receive every day. I am thankful to God because even though I know I am not a perfect person, He continues to bless me in many ways. One of the simple things I am grateful for is my breakfast. I am blessed to have a complete and balanced meal with coffee, rice, and different kinds of food on the table. I feel lucky that even during times when we are struggling financially, we can still eat and enjoy the food that we like. Of course, there are also moments when we need to save and learn how to manage what we have, but having enough food to eat is already a blessing. Sometimes, we forget that the simple things we experience every day are already gifts from God. Waking up, having food, having people who support us, and receiving help from others are things we should never take for granted. We should always be grateful for whatever we have. Let us continue to thank God for His blessings and appreciate the people who help and support us in our everyday lives. Good morning mga kBch fam🤗 image
